We foster a sense of friendship and mutual respect among Association members through social events and organize volunteer opportunities and community service events that allow our members to participate and give back to their communities.

We currently have approximately 737 active members which includes retirees of the Hamilton Police Service, Associate members and Surviving Spouses.

Membership is open to all retired members of the Hamilton Police Service and employees of the Hamilton Police Association. A letter of invitation to join the HPRA is sent when our Membership Director is notified of a member’s retirement and to the surviving spouses of our retired and current serving members.

Members that have served a minimum of 10 years may apply for Associate membership.
