The Police Retirees Association of Halton (PRAH) was established on Oct 20, 1999 with the goal to support retired sworn and civilian members of the Halton Regional Police Service. PRAH is a non partisan, non political organization but is a support mechanism for it’s affiliate, the Police Pensioners Association of Ontario, which advocates for all retirees in Ontario.

PRAH financially supports its members with an annual bursary for relatives enrolled in post secondary education. As well, food banks throughout the region are also supported annually during the Christmas season. An important aspect of PRAH is to keep all members informed of opportunities to socialize via organized events and other personal issues, such as health etc.
